June Goals

--I plan to lose ten pounds in June.
---I will drink eight glasses of water.
---I will allow myself, one cheat day, eating properly the rest of the time.
---I will meditate and read the Bible daily.

I will comment on whether or not, I reach my goals, on July 8, the day before my thirtieth Birthday.

    Those are awesome goals!

The ladies bible study that I attended this past Wednesday was talking about just that.
Your yes be yes, and your no be no. And also, sometimes we say yes to too many things and really don't pray about them. And so as a result, we don't meet our goals because we have let other things crowd them out.

I remember years ago when someone at church asked me if I would do something, I really didn't have the time and they saw my hesitation. So she said if you can't do it, the Lord has someone else in mind.

You will never know what a relief it was when she told me that. So now when someone asks me if I can but I really can't, I just tell them I am sorry but it will not work out for me now. Maybe another time.

But everyone needs goals in their lives. It stretches us, it helps us grow, and we finally get to see what we are really made on the inside.

YOU can do it, one day at a time. emoticon emoticon emoticon and stay focused!
