Stressed, me??

So, a stress journal . . . I know I need to relieve some of the ridiculous stress I am under. Sometimes it feels impossible, but at least I can try to lessen what I can control. If I can list the things that are most stressful, maybe I can get on top of them.
Finances, finances, finances
living situation
selling the house

that's probably more than enough. it seems to completely take over my life.

    Journaling my stress helps me. If nothing else, it clears the clutter rolling around in my head so I can think more clearly. It's helps prioritize things too when you see it in black in white.

I had a challenging day yesterday but I kept telling myself, it's not a bad day, just a couple bad moments I'm holding on to. It brought back bad memories and overwhelmed me. The stress busting tools kicked in yesterday.

I also went for a run and did some strength straining. Exercise really helps blow off steam.

    The stress journal really helped me.Instead of reaching for a bag of chips & covering up the emotions I try to specifically write why I'm stressed. What exactly is happening . Why I'm afraid & then try to come up with a plan to deal with it better.

I am under a lot of stress everyday. Sometimes it seems unbearable. I can't change what is happening , but I can change the way I react to it . I joined the Stress Busters team & it's helped some.
I practiced the breathing exercise today & it was a help. I think especially at bedtime when thoughts tend to race.
