Goals for BLC22:
1. This one I am putting in the first position, because right now it is the most important. I HAVE to establish a habit of getting in my workout somewhere between 5:00-7:00 a.m. I am not working outside of the house right now, so I haven’t been as disciplined with my mornings. Now that my oldest is done with school for the summer, I am home with three little ones. Working in my workout around naps and the kids’ computer time/iPad time is doable, but NOT optimal!
Making this a S.M.A.R.T. goal… Specific – workouts and shower is done before 8:30a.m. when the kids start to wake up. Measurable – yes. Attainable – yes! Realistic – mostly. There have been nights were my sleep is interrupted because the smallest one is awake.. in those cases, getting up at 5a.m. with stilted sleep is a trick (and maybe not healthy, either). So I will say realistic 95% of the time, keeping a bit of flexibility in case of overnight kid adventures. Time-bound – sure, by the end of this twelve weeks, early a.m. workouts will be my new normal, my new habit!!
2. Lose 10 lbs. My overarching goal is to lose 20 lbs., but over this twelve week period, I would love to lose the first 10 lbs. of that!! I almost can’t even wrap my head around being 146 lbs.! That is less than I was before I got pregnant with my first in 2006! But I CAN do this… I have a supportive team, I am up for the challenge, I’m engaged with this… I’m going to see those 150s in my rearview mirror!!!!
