I just have to put this out here cause I'm just a mess right now. My great friend found out Tuesday that her 9 yr old son has bone cancer. He has a rare condition called Ruthmund Thomas Syndrome, he is literally one in a million. With this condition skin cancer and bone cancer are very likely. Over the Memorial weekend Harrison and one of his brothers were playing bean bag wars. In this war fight, Harrison fractured his wrist. After the xray something showed up and after tests it was diagnosed as bone cancer. As I"m typing this my friend, her mom and Harrison are at the hospital possibly at this moment learning if the cancer has spread or if it localized in his wrist.
Today I met with 2 of my friends at their house and we put 30 balloons in their front yard. So when they come down the street and pull into the drive way Harrison is going to be greeted with a front yard of balloons....this boy loves balloons. I just wanted to share the picture we took before we left.
We decided that after ever chemo that he has to have or any other big test that he has to endure we will be doing this for him.
