Finally figured out a dog food for Summer. I got her Frommes. It is made right here in Mequon, WI which is right by me. It was rated very good.

I then got to thinking about my cats. They have been eating IAMS for years. When I started researching IAMS, it said that cats can end up with liver disease in certain cases with IAMS. I'm wondering if that isn't what happened to Baby Huey. He was only 12 or 13 when he died which is awfully young for a cat. I decided I wasn't going to take any chances with Roxy and Fonzie so I got them Frommes too.

It is so funny how we think it is expensive to pay $40 for a bag of cat food that will last 3 months, but not think twice about going out for one meal and pay $40. They like the food. They are still not real thrilled with Summer, but I think her manners classes will help with that. She is smart and picking up things quickly.

I thought the second epidural worked, but some of the pain is coming back especially in cold, damp weather. Yesterday, I could barely turn my head. Today, it is better. I called the nurse and I will see what the doctor says. He said it could take 3 shots. If he feels that's what I need to do, I will do it.

My son had a job interview today. I'm hoping he gets the job. It is just part time, but he has a lot of other jobs on the side so it would work great. The hours are 4a.m. to 8 a.m. so he could still do his other jobs and more. We will know on Tuesday. His job coach went with him and the employer is familiar with his employment company and DVR.

I have been very consistent with my exercise. My eating has been a little off, but I haven't gained anything so that is good.

Business is good. I have 5 closings coming up. One is a closing that has been pushed back for the last couple of months due to needing a new mound system. It has been too rainy to install it.

JC has been healthy knock on wood. He is on my agenda for tomorrow as it looks like I have the day off ;)

All around, things are pretty good :)

Wow...mystery solved! We feed our Mr. Keanu Blue Wildness, and Natural Balance, but it is always a crap shoot about what he will eat. Usually he'll eat real chicken tenders but then I worry that he isn't getting his minerals and vitamins. Sometimes we give him baby food meats..but then I worry about too much's a constant worry...our fur babies take just as much time as our human ones! emoticon

I'm happy things seem to be going well for you. Hope your back gets better without another shot...I'm always leery about those things...but then I cross myself 3 times every time I WALk by a doctor here in SW FL. They are a WHOLE different breed than the one's I trusted back in the Midwest. Here's its all about the $$$$$! emoticon

Fromms is a great food! I personally feed a raw diet, but will have a small bag of Fromms in case I don't have enough thawed out.

Good analogy comparing spending on one night out to the $40 bag of food. Granted, my $50 bags only last Chrissy a month, but I still feel much better feeding her healthier choices. There are so many schools of thought on feeding, just like there are for us! & of course, not everything will work for everyone!

One can obsess, or just do the best that they can with what they have available to them! I think you made a great choice! Glad they all like the food too - that's a plus!

Hope you get more relief and have no more pain soon! & wahoo on the closings, and more JC time! Enjoy!
