I'm days away from my vacation, so you'd think I'd be diligent in eating right and working out to be in the best shape I can be, wouldn't you? Not
I was doing so good Wednesday. Only ate a little bit of ice cream at my Mom's house. We had gone grocery shopping and you know how the top gets a bit soft on the way home from the store so its so easy to scape some off the top? Well, I couldn't resist doing that before I put it away in the freezer. I even thought about actually putting some in a bowl and enjoying it after we had dinner. But then I reminded myself that I had cherries and strawberries at home, and I so love cherries, and I decided to wait and eat those instead. Pat on the back for me.
I got home, ate some cherries and had a cup of milk. Well done! Then I thought, hmmm just one little piece of chocolate to top off the day. I didn't need it, obviously. I didn't really even care if I had it, but I decided to anyway. And then proceeded to eat the whole large bar.... I didn't even look to see what the damage was and the next day when I was tracking my food I guessed that I had eaten 1,000 calories in chocolate! Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb.
What a relief when I read the wrapper that night and found that I had only eaten 600 calories!! Only - 600 - calories - of - chocolate... yeah, that's so much better...
