reduced hours for next month at work

Friday, June 07, 2013

I saw the doctor yesterday as my cast was uncomfortable (greatly) and it was taken off, x-rays done and new cast applied. Another month in cast and return for check up on July 1st. Dr hopes to put hand in a splint at that time. I surely hope so. Until then I will be working 6 hours a day (seems to be my limit). Employer is not giving me any slack in terms of production, but I think working 6 hours instead of 8 will help.

BTW my right thumb is immobilized and four fingers are sticking out though normal movement is possible with only two fingers. I am considering seeing "my attorney Bernie," to get help dealing with my employer as I do not feel I am being treated fairly.
AND all of the work that is graded on accuracy and speed involves keyboarding and handling papers.

emoticon So sorry that you are going through this. But if you don't Stand Up for Yourself, No One Else is going to. Hopefully Bernie can straighten out your Employer's thinking!!

Sorry about the inconvenience but talking to "Bernie" may be just what you need to do right now. Take care. HUGS!
