BLC22 GOALS

My goals for this round of BLC22 may seem sort of big but I really think that its doable if I put my mind to it and stick with it. Being apart of this is really making me much more accountable. I want to earn as many points possible so I do not let my team down. Thinking about that is really pushing me in a way that I need to be pushed.

Here are my goals:

1) Started out at 218. I would really love to be at 199. I know that is allot of weight to lose in 12 weeks but I feel if I really make the change and stick with it, I could see those results. Now if that is not reasonable enough I would be happy seeing 205.

So how am I going to achieve this: Im going to work out, eat right and have fun!

I am so sick of seeing myself stay between 215-222. Its been that way for 3 or more years now. I need a change and I want a change.

2) I want to make myself work out much more often. Im aiming for 5 days a week with an ultimate goal of 6. I know I can do this. I can walk on lunches, work out when Jordan goes to bed and even take the kids on a walk or bike ride after work and on the weekends. I could walk the zoo or the mall on a cloudy day.

3) I want to track all the food I eat and stay with in my calorie range. Now I know there will be some days where I might go over (family functions) but I will not go over board and I will track every bite I take. That is something that has been a problem for me before.

4) I want to be able to run a mile with out stopping by the time the 12 weeks are up. This is something I have NEVER been able to do. I will practice on my treadmill and push a little harder each time.

With all my resources I have (my trainer, BLC22 and Spark People) I know I can do this in 12 weeks.

    Awesome Goals!!

I walk during my lunch break. My half-hour break is expanded a little bit b/c I actually take the time to change my clothes (I get pretty sweaty). So blessed to have a supportive boss who allows me to do this!! I have offered to come in a little early or stay a little late to accommodate this time, but he's cool w/ it. :-)

Are you using a running training plan?? I would suggest Couch to 5K (C25K), even tho that's 3 miles, but it does get you running more & more.... Many of the running apps also have trainer functions. I use runkeeper. I listen to the radio on my phone or play music (I use an android, & haven't figured out how to use iTunes on it yet) & the lady cuts in when it's time to walk or run. You can even customize your intervals.

At any rate, a bunch of us Mustangs are gonna hit Onederland this round!!! See you there!!!

    btw: I made my goal 20 pounds. I weighed in heavy since it was worst day of TOM (206) but I still want to weigh 180 at the end of the 12 weeks. I'm already back down to 201(thank goodness!!) and i'm hoping to be at 199 by weigh in day. Totally doable so long as I do what i need to do to make it happen. Swore I wasn't gonna see 200 again after I hit 198 but here I am again...

    You can do it! I was stuck at around 212-216 for a LONG time and finally dropped down to 199-201...it just took some dedication. It gave me the spark I needed to continue on because now I KNOW it's possible to lose weight. Sticking with this and SEEING that you can do it is a huge confidence booster. It's worth the hardship. Once I lost that weight I felt so good about myself that I bought some new flattering clothes and got my hair done...bought new makeup...that gave me even more confidence. The past few weeks i've noticed myself losing faith again so I'm thankful that BLC just started. The goals and cheering from my teamies/cappies will go a long way to keep me pushing forward.

You have great goals! I just wanted to share with you since I was stuck around the same weight for so dang long. You can do it, you just really have to believe in YOURSELF and have faith. emoticon

    I'm right there with you. My goal is to break that 200 mark too! Your goals are very do able! Good luck over the next 12 weeks.
