YAY!! Its been a week since I have started a few new things.
1: Tracking Food; I must confess I have not gotten into the grove of tracking everything I eat, maybe its because I am afraid to come to terms with the amount of junk I put in. But I will work on it and learn to LOVE tracking my food.
2:Tracking Fitness Mins; however tracker my fitness minutes HELL YA!! I am so proud of myself, getting into the gym at 5am and leaving at 6:30 is a big ole step for me. Yes, I'm doing a little strength training for 15 mins (thanks to MR BUFF
who I stared at while walking on the treadmill while he maneuvered all the machines) I learnt exactly how to use the machines, and hitting the treadmill for the duration, my shins hurt and my feet are angry having to hold up my frame, but I am not giving up, I pant and sweat and grunt on the minute jog but I know it will get easier.
3: I have buddied (sic) up with another sparkie as CARBS ADDICTS it has been really nice and comforting getting a text from Kimberly, being held accountable for our meal choices, and knowing that we are not alone dealing with the cravings. I love having a spark buddy.
4: Healthy Snacks: OK I cant remember which sparkie blogged about it (thanks for the great idea) but KALE CHIPS is my new fav snack, even my niece (7 yrs) is dipping into the kale chips. I need to find more healthy snack choices.
So week 1 is over
I am sore but I feel so much better knowing that I am on the right track.
