Okay, so yesterdays TRX workout with my trainer was intense -- I thought for sure I wouldn't be able to move today. And not so bad, which I'm thankful for. We'll see how they are tomorrow.
Today was a little tough on the food choices -- we had a catered lunch due to an interviewing candidate -- and although the food options weren't entirely bad, there were some overly temping things like scalloped potatoes. YUM. I can't remember the last time I had those. And then we went to dinner tonight at an Italian restaurant. I ordered a chicken parmesan salad, but only ate a small bit of it since I was still stuffed from the lunch. It's so hard to estimate calories for things when I haven't prepared the food myself. So overall, probably not too bad today, but probably not as good as I could have been.
I just spent an hour vacuuming my apartment (no, it's not that large of a place). I'd let the vacuuming get ahead of me -- so had to vacuum multiple times to get rid of all the cat fur --- geesh. So the place feels MUCH cleaner now. That and I think that counted for my at least 10 minutes of activity for the day.
Our interviewing candidate got stuck due to the storm Andrea -- so didn't get in until late today, which means we are doing the whole schedule tomorrow (which I wasn't planning for), and which has really thrown my whole day into a mess since I have this continuing education thing I have to do in the morning -- then I have to meet with him and go to another lunch, and THEN, I will be able to start my work for the day around 2pm. ugh. And I was hoping to leave work early to get a jump start on my weekend. Probably not going to happen.
But I am so looking forward to having a quiet and relaxing weekend.
Tomorrow is my next running day -- still not back on track yet, but improving. Hope to get back on track by Sunday to restart from my week 5 schedule.
