why

I don't know why my weight keeps going up and down the same two or three pounds. I am getting sick of seeing the same numbers over and over. I know I have to make them go down if I don't my Dr.s are not going to be happy with me. They are not happy that I have not lost more than I have but crap what can one do about it? nothing that I can find so I guess it is what it is. I mean its not about eating less then you put in calories for me its just not that simple for me, I wish it was. They say my BMR is 1976 well I only eat like 1400 calories a day and going lower is no help to me either, been there done that. I am only eating 20 total carbs a day most days its like 10 but my Dr seems to think that is to high. Well those carbs come from vegys and country ham/bacon yes they have a small amount of carbs because they are cured meat(sugar).the package lies if its .5 or less they don't have to put the carbs on the package. Then there are my eggs those have carbs also, some brands do put that on the package others dont. So really if you don't count those items I only eat like 5/8 carbs most days.
Sorry so long but I am just sick of the scale and being told that this and that should be going on like I am really not eating the way I say I am. I do eat the items and amounts I say I do for I want the weight gone. I want to feel better and for my acid reflux to be gone and my knee to not hurt so much all the time.

I've been in a long stall, too, and I know how frustrating it is.
Right now, I just keep on doing what I'm doing, because I believe that low carb, grain free, is the best thing I can do for myself, no matter what the scale says.
My reflux is almost gone, but it's taken months to get this much better, and it may never really go away completely. I've been taking some Betaine HCL pills for digestion after meals, and that really seems to help, as counter-intuitive as it sounds.
I wish I had better advice for you than "hang in there," but it's what I'm doing. At lease I can promise you you're not the only one.
