What's so great about smoothies? My favorite thing about smoothies is that they're sweet, they contain great vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants! I knew before that I love blueberries! I bought a personal blender, some frozen fruit, some yogurt, and some protein shakes. I've found that I absolutely LOVE smoothies. I realize that most of you have already discovered the amazing world of swirled fruit and yogurts. But I'm a little behind...I have challenged myself to try something new every few days. So this smoothie thing is really a great thing for me (and, by default, my family!).
I was going to purchase some spinach tomorrow to put into my smoothies this coming week. That was, until I read a spark article (a "sparticle"?) at
that compared all the leafy greens to each other. It turns out that the most outstanding, vitamin-packed leafy green is kale! So, I'm going to give it a try. If the article is off and I can taste the "green", I'll give the spinach a try. I'll report back to let you know how it goes!
