I wanted to give you a laugh before I got serious thus..........
Two men were traveling on a motorcycle on a windy day. When it became too breezy for one, he stopped and put his overcoat on backward to keep the wind from ballooning it away from him. A few miles down the road, the motorcycle hit a tree, killing the driver and stunning the fellow with the reversed coat. Later, when the coroner visited the scene, he said to a rookie policeman standing nearby, "What happened?"
"Well," the officer replied, "one of them was dead when I got here, and by the time I got the head of the other one turned around, he was dead, too."
Now to be serious.......................
I read an article today by Kevin Sinclair on healthy living and wanted to share some of his tips. According to him the best approach to healthy living involves watching your diet and getting adequate exercise (no surprise there). We shouldn't try to control one at the expense of the other. Hmm...........got to do more
He also says we should plan and prepare each day and commit to healthy eating. Yep, heard that one before too.
He suggests buying only healthy foods.
Next , his advice is to de-stress with exercise. A brisk walk
, a few minutes of silent meditation and breathing are simple stress relievers and can do wonders for all aspects of our life.
No matter if you're a person entering the second half of your life, younger or older, the quality of life and priorities are something we should all be thinking about. Fitness and healthy living cannot be attained without the exercise of one's will. Aha, I think he knows what he is thinking about.
"That's All Folks!"
