Too Much Lunch

Yesterday I went out to lunch with my friends. (I may want to get my extra weight off, but I want to keep my social life, too.) We went to a gourmet pizza place. Since the place specialized in pizza, I ordered one. After I got home, I looked up the nutrition information for my item. I did not find the exact one, but I found information for a pizza that was not too different at the same restaurant. Well, I found out that I had probably consumed somewhere around 1900 calories in that meal. Oops! Even the nutrition information said that what I ate was actually two servings. I didn't eat anything else the rest of the day. There was a 0.6# uptick this morning; but then, I did eat bread yesterday, so it was kind of expected.

So, next time I go out, I will:

1. Look up the restaurant's menu.
2. Try to determine the nutrition information for my chosen item.
3. When ordering high-calorie items, I will get a box early and put the extra food in it before I start eating.
4. Give the extra food to my son, who will happily eat almost any leftovers.

As for losing my dinner the other night, I felt fine soon afterward. I was not sick. I have eliminated the new food theory. I was able to eat the new food again without incident. That leaves questionable lettuce and that obnoxious burning kale as the cause.
