Feeling so much better now that I have eaten real food for the last 4 days. I even passed up on a croissant without feeling I was missing out on something.
If I want a treat I have 2 madjool dates with a few nuts. I am using the crowding out method. Eating more food that is full of nutrients.
Had great smoothies for breakfast, lunch, beans and veg, supper roasted veg and salads. Fruit incorporated into all my
. Some days I eat a lot of fruit and more nuts than I planned but most days I'm doing good.
Aiming for 95% nutrient dense and I think I'm getting there. Giving myself a reward for sticking to my plan for 4 days.
The weekends are always a big issue for me as we have huge family meals and I bake for teens. It's easy for me to forgo the ice-cream as I make it dairy for them and I prefer a homemade vitamix ice-cream..
I plan to have up to two slices of bread a meal at the weekend and 1 dessert. Will report on sunday.
