Excuses to not exercise

Thursday, June 06, 2013

Not much to say about why I don't like to exercise--I just don't. I have every excuse in the world about why I don't want to exercise but none of them are legitimate. I have difficulty breathing and it's much harder to breathe when I'm exercising, and I'm so allergic to everything outdoors that I'm miserable there too. I have a Wii and a couple of games that require that I move from the chair and I'm working on being willing to do one of the games each day to start.

I do not like to exercise, either! The Wii has some fun games though and it's almost like you're not exercising (almost!!) so that sounds like a great plan. I did that a lot in the winter when it was too cold to go out and exercise.

You have a plan that seems as though it will benefit you, so I wish you success in one game a day - that is until you decide that you are ready for more.

    God bless!

I don't really want to exercise either, but I always feel so virtuous when I do.

Great place to start. I know I always tried to run and I could never be consistant because I really didn't like running. Today I walk instead (and I really love that). Take those baby steps and keep your mind open to activities you enjoy. That will make "exercising" a treat rather than a curse. Good luck!
