BLC22 and TurboFire

Thursday, June 06, 2013

Yesterday began the 22nd round of the Biggest Loser Challenge (BLC22). It is my 5th round, 4th as co-captain and I am a proud Crimson Butterfly. The past year+ I have been suffering from injuries and other health issues which are finally starting to heal and work themselves out.

I feel excited about how I am feeling physically and mentally and about the potential this round holds. Just have to stay focused and make the right choices.

To that end I am going to try the TurboFire program as my workouts this round. It is a set program each day and I plan on doing it each evening after work. Today was day 1 :-D

AM workouts on the elliptical were always my favorite, but sometimes that was because I didn't have enough time in the morning before work to attempt TF. Plus physically it got really difficult to do a lot of the moves, even low impact.

It is possible my body isn't yet ready for it, but I will take as far as I can. At the very least it will be a great jump-start to weight loss.

I am ready to make a change. More importantly I am ready to do what it takes to make the change happen!

I saw this on a friends facebook page relating to world peace, but I couldn't get these words out of my thoughts.

"...nothing happens until the pain of remaining the same outweighs the pain of change..."

I think they apply here and to all we do quite nicely emoticon

"...nothing happens until the pain of remaining the same outweighs the pain of change..." Those words are so true, how many times have we promised ourselves to be smaller for a special occasion, only to find we stayed the same or even gained more, Just a deep feeling of having failed yet once again...I have been there so many times

Glad your feeling better Sam, I to have many health problems I am trying to handle right now!

Keep up the great work, you are doing fine!
