Overall watching the calories in each juice add up to a total for the day was kind of satisfying and educational.
I definitely need more time in my day to log my food - basically to get the recipes in! Yesterday i went on a cooking bing - 3 new recipes, 2 old ones (thankfully they were already in the nutrition tracker). I know things would be easier if i actually followed a recipe, but that's not my mode of operandus, and so i do indeed make some of my own issues, but really, don't we all, in all parts of our lives??
2 nights ago i took out a random cookbook - it was an old WW book, prior to the point change - MIL was able to get it for me once it was deemed obsolete! So i found a roasted chick pea, white bean dip and a Turkish-style glazed fruit recipe! It felt good to create things, and along with the 2 things for dinner, i used almost everything in the kitchen, 4 burners, and most of the pots! Still working on getting it all cleaned up!
So i am attempting to use the fitbit calorie tracker along with the spark people one, thank goodness for synching!
Water - made some sun tea (green tea) - looking to get my 90 ounces today
Food - i have left overs from yesterday, so should have a wonderful lunch!
Protein - i went over the recommended amount yesterday, by 2%, and i'm aiming for a good 30% protein, so i'll be trying to focus on that over the next few weeks!
Hoping for a hike this weekend, fingers crossed, hubby made a meeting with some other folks, so it might just be me, the pups and some gal pals... or i might just have to go for a sun set hike... hmmm that sounds romantic!
