Gotta Turn This Ship Around

Since being on vacation, I've let my ship sail off without me. The good thing is I haven't gained any weight, which I was REALLY worried about, but I haven't lost either, although that seems to be the case lately anyway. BUT, I didn't do a good job of exercising on vacation - I just didn't feel it. When I started my Streak, I was motivated and ready to go but I'm just not there right now. This week I'm back to work and we move to a summer schedule of M-Th and F off so I have to get up way earlier (really tough after 2 1/2 weeks of vacation and no alarm!) and stay later and then we have the final installment of our family drama this weekend with my husband's father's ashes being interred (finally) so I've been really stressing about this all week. I finally decided yesterday that I'm just going to cut myself some slack this week and get myself back in a good place starting Sunday and begin anew with a new Streak goal and really cracking down on my food so that I can break the plateau of no weight loss. After reading a fellow sparkers comments on The Spark Solution, I think I may invest and try to get myself going again. I know that I'm doing well with my exercise (when I'm on track) so it has to be inaccurate food data that is doing me in. I CAN and WILL do this - for me and my hubby and our future life together!

    So happy to hear you had a nice vacation & kudos to you for maintaining your weight while on vacation. That's great ! I hope the family drama has settled down for you by now.     Half the battle is admitting that it is you that needs to make the changes and the other half of the battle is then following through with what you know you need to do!

    I see your plan, I feel your pain and I am with you in the way that you are coming to grips with reality! More power to you and I hope you are back on top of things soon !

    What about s specific mileage or minute goal for the rest of the month? Would that help?
