I have taken spark people to task for screwing up the fitness minutes tracking with upper limits. I don't like the point system where they give you bonuses for buying stuff or hanging around on the site reading. Now I understand that they give fitness minutes bonuses? Bizzarre in terms of a true motivational system. Reminds me of teachers giving good grades for carrying her books or bringing him an apple.
Anyway---- this site does a bang up job with the short readable articles. It is by and large sound and well researched also. The comprehensiveness is overwhelming but I love it.
I bought the "coaching sessions". I love them! they are really short structured reminders and literal instruction. The Program component is really well done. The structure helps me since I am retired organize my time on here. ( Remember, fingers hitting keys and eyeballs moving across a screen, and butts wiggling in a chair burn very few calories).
So if you can afford $5 a month or so go for it. I tend to use stuff because I bought it.
I also love the community aspect of SP. That people read and comment and encourage one another is cool.
