That puurrrrrfect poor Crybaby/furbaby! She probably was saying or conveying she was sick, but instead... she was thinking ...that "You dont care about me, you just care when your sick!"

Poor baby! She was thinking of sharing with you her feelings but it came out wrong!
Things could have been worst, the cat could have had diarrhea and messed in your new shoes or chewed your new dress you were going to wear out this Friday night! Count your blessing, she was trying to be nice when she went to the chair! she did not vomit a second time in your bed! Or had diarrhea and poo-pooed in your bed! lmao.... things could have been worst; you could have my problems of a back up sewer into your living space! And no sleep! Hugs. Hope that helps you get over kitties mess! Hugs I would rather have your problem.... little messes are better than HUGE house wide messes! Or wet ones! susana emoticon emoticon

What a treat to find this today: really really needed it!! You are so reliably hilarious but always in a completely different way! Wouldn't wish this stuff happens to you but how great is it that you can tell us all about it in a manner causing tears of mirth . . . yeah!

I am a cat lover too -- and I have two of them.
Along with that comes periodic puke piles.
What can you do?

Be grateful he doesn't trash that lovely wicker chair by sharpening his claws on the side of it.
We had to replace perfectly good furniture because the cats ruined it.

We now have baby gates to keep the cats out of some rooms - to preserve our new furniture.

Thanks for yet another entertaining blog!

I had to clean orange puke off my couch yesterday the size of a salad plate that my 6 pound chihuahua left for me....hubby of course spotted it and said, "Hey I think your dog puked on the couch". Funny how the kids and dog always become mine when one of them screws up. ;)

Another funny blog, hope you are having a good week and that your weekend ahead is amazing.

My cats seem to delight in tossing their hairballs at just the right time - I am deliciously asleep. They are far enough away that I can't reach them and won't consider getting out of bed even though that very particular sound has now ruined my delicious sleep. I spend the rest of the night sleeping fitfully, waking every time I change position to remind myself to be v-e-r-y careful when I get out of bed. Because there. is. nothing. like. stepping. on. cat. puke. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
(I love them too!)

As far as the timing of your blogs - It takes awhile to get those creative juices flowing! You don't need to feel guilty at all. Remember the Carly Simon song Anticipation? 'Nuff said! emoticon

Oh -- my -- god! You know I think ALL animals have this innate of when and where to strike with the pee, poop or vomit to reduce us to puddles of tears! And I don't really do tears either (I think your super glue recommendation for tear ducts is pretty good! When dealing with teens, DEFINITELY have to have stock in super glue!)

Even if the culprits would come up to you and say, "'Scuse me. I think I just peed/pooped/vomited in your bed (or wherever they happened to do it" before . . . BEFORE you step in it or put your arm in it! GROSSSSSSSSS!

Glad you survived the cat escapades and your colleagues tears!

As gross as it is, cleaning up the various fluids that emanate from our feline friends is far preferable than dealing with any human crazies.
Give me cat puke any day!!!

Oh yes, the loves of our lives will always puke in the most interesting places...though of course NEVER where they sleep.

I have to ask, do you have a clone of the co-worker who leaves me wanting to stab my ears with a pen? (would that count as violence in the work place?) That employee who is so sickeningly saccharine in every word that leaves her lips? I just know she must be a psycho serial killer, no one sane can be that sweet...Would love to read your take if you do have on of "those"!

emoticon Royalty pukes where ever it pleases! emoticon Have I mentioned how much I love being retired! I can avoid the drama queens. Fun blog, more is not necessarily better; at once a month we get a chance to anticipate. Anticipation is good. Thanks!

p.s. Read something interesting lately. Man domesticated dogs so they could work for us. Cats domesticated themselves, so we could work for them!
