So a few weeks ago my boyfriend and I were talking about trying out different diets and seeing which ones worked for us and experimenting with different lifestyles. Both of us have been on an up and down weight roller coaster for the majority of our lives and we thought it would be interesting to see how different diets, cultures, and lifestyles affected the mind and body.
About 3-days ago we started on a Vegan diet. This is not going to be a lifestyle choice we make for a long period of time but we wanted to see the affects it has on the body. It is only day 3 but I am feeling great! I have more energy then I usually do and I don't feel sick or bloated. Our plan in the beginning was to try out all sorts of different things so obviously I am not going to stay on this diet but if I weren't doing this then I would definitely consider giving up meat and dairy products. Today was a beautiful day and I found myself to have a lot more energy then normal. We decided to go for a hike and after that I had baseball. I think this vegan thing is doing some pretty good things for my body. I am feeling very motivated to get over this plateau that I'v been stuck in and I am very excited to see how the next week goes for me!
