My Day Off

I decided that today would be a good day to take a break.
Last night I did 30 minutes on the treadmill at 10:00 so of course, I didn't get to bed until about 1 AM! I also got up too early this morning to ride along with my husband on an errand. It was fun. We stopped at McDonald's for an egg white delight and we saw some new scenery.
I am tired now and the day is cloudy and chilly. A great combination for napping or reading a good book or both!
I am still tracking my food and eating healthy but I need a break from the exercise just for today. My goal is to get 10,000 steps 6/7 days and 30 minutes of cardio 5/7 days. Since I had such a glowing report from the doctor yesterday; I am rewarding myself with this little mini-vacation.
Everyone deserves a little rest now and then. But I will be back at it tomorrow!
