Endless work on the Sacramento house...

Wednesday, June 05, 2013

Well, work on the Sacramento house continues for me. One thing after another pops up. Most recent 'problemo' resulted from me flipping the on switch of an old wall heater we haven't used in 12 years (I had a table in front of it and pulled the table out to clean HA!) and the electric motor exploded, and flipped the main house electrical breaker off. SO; have had electricians out to remove the heater from the wall and repair the electrical lines. This week I've got drywall working being completed and then I get to paint another wall...

During all of this I have succumbed to Taylor's Mango Sorbet, YUM!!!!!!!!!! I'm trying to keep it to a bowl a night -but this is very difficult.

I've not been able to do much REGULAR EXERCISE (walking, swimming, etc.); BUT I have been tracking weird exercise in like: CLEANING HOUSE & GARDENING for hours on end.

Boy do I miss having my dad, my husband and my nephew around to take care of the front/back/side yards and gardens, and the pool and the gutters. SHEESH!!!

But with all this work, I am truly sleeping like a rock.

Love you guys,

it's good to hear from you! Take care you don't overdo it. I know some people don't consider it "regular" exercise, but I'm sure you're getting a workout!

Hey is going to warm up this weekend, so grab a pitcher of something cool, and an umbrella...sunscreen of course and take some time off. Relax by that wonderfully clean pool............You deserve it. And when you get a chance, we'll do lunch (or ice cream)..............Your choice.

BR>Is hubby still working here or has he joined the ranks of the retired?

Sorry you're having so much troubles getting the house in shape! I'm not trying to renovate, but my 30+ year old house has these kinds of difficulties too. And I don't have the money to fix them. Good luck with everything!

You can always call me if you need to vent, or get away for a cup of coffee or whatever.

Every little bit counts! It sounds like you have been busy, busy, busy! All that activity adds up! Plus the house will be done! emoticon
