Today I did my first round of the Run 5k app, in the popular "Couch to 5k" trend. I was very impressed with myself and how I did. The first day was a 5 min warmup, then five rounds of jog 45 seconds, walk 90 seconds, jog 45 seconds, walk 60 seconds, with a 5 minute cooldown. I made an awesome workout playlist before I left the house, and it barely felt like I was exercising! It just goes to show how good music can make any situation better. I had a banana-strawberry yogurt smoothie for breakfast and I've already drank two cups of water. I'm excited to begin my new weight-loss journey!
