Progress not perfection

I was just reading some of my past blogs and though I have not hit the goals I had set, I have made progress. I have been losing about 1 pounds a week every week for about 3 months now . . . I make healthier food choices most of the time . . . and I drink plenty of good old fashioned water.
In the past missing the goals would have sent me into a tailspin and I would have binged and given up - - - but that is not how I responded today - - - today I choose to look at the positive changes that I have made and see the progress that has taken place and to continue in the healthy patterns that I have started to establish.
I have often given up because I was not able to follow a program perfectly but today I chose progress over perfection!
