I have never tried to blog,so here goes my 1st try

I have started to walk and also to swim. But need help in eating better.

    AS _LINDA SAYS IS GOOD ADVICE. WHEN YOU DO GET TO THIS:
- YOU NEED TO SHOP FOR HEALTHIER CHOICES,
- YOU NEED TO MEASURE AND WEIGH YOUR FOOD,
- YOU NEED TO STICK TO THE CALORIES YOU NEED FOR YOUR BODY EACH DAY,
- DO NOT GO UNDER OR OVER, IF YOU DON'T EAT ENOUGH CALORIES YOU WON'T LOOSE AND YOUR BODY WILL STORE IT AS FAT,
- YOU NEED TO EXERCISE EACH DAY EVEN IF IT IS ONLY A 10 MINUTE WALK, DO IT.
- USE THE APPS TO HELP YOU GET HEALTHIER. THERE ARE RECIPES, EXERCISES, BLOGS, ETC.
GOOD LUCK ON YOUR JOURNRY.
REMEMBER IF YOU NEED HELP JUST ASK. SPARK PEOPLE FRIENDS WILL HELP YOU ALONG THE WAY. ALSO EAT LOTS OF VEGETABLES AND FRUITS.

    emoticon to Sparkpeople! You have come to the right place to help you get on the right track! When I first joined it was only to be able to track my food, and that was a real eye opener for me! Weighing and measuring everything I ate and trying to stay in my calorie range made all the difference in the world. Later on, I started going to people's blogs and that is how I 'met' and made friends to help and encourage each other along the way. I had never done a blog before joining this site either. Unfortunately, I never got a single response, and today its mostly my friends that will comment on it and that is okay with me. Its a way of keeping tabs on how you are doing and sharing any difficulties you may be having.
I wish you all the best in your healthy journey. It is a destination without end as its meant for life!

    I have found with me that once I get regular in exercising, the better I feel and the desire to eat better kicks in after a few weeks. Stick with it!
