New Journey

My new journey started June 3, 2013. I need to lose 50 lbs (in a perfect world) but am happy with 40. I am using the Shred Revolutionary Diet by Dr. Ian Smith. I have completed W1D1 and D2. Due to lack of preparation I didn't exactly eat when I was supposed to but I did eat most of the foods and nothing off plan. I finally exercised for 45 mins. I was supposed to do 30 mins on Monday but didn't (laziness). I can say I have never drank so much water in my life! So that is definitely a positive.

I do have a problem with depression and take meds for it. I started Lexapro 10mg and gained 12 lbs in 5 weeks. I am now cutting back (after being upped to 20mg). The doctor suggested I add green tea extract for help in fat burning and losing weight. It's working a bit.

    Congrats on starting your journey. I am 1 day ahead of you on Shred and I'm loving it. Sounds like you'll do great and be proud of the exercise you food do, remember as long as you're doing something you're lapping everyone on the couch. emoticon
