My new journey started June 3, 2013. I need to lose 50 lbs (in a perfect world) but am happy with 40. I am using the Shred Revolutionary Diet by Dr. Ian Smith. I have completed W1D1 and D2. Due to lack of preparation I didn't exactly eat when I was supposed to but I did eat most of the foods and nothing off plan. I finally exercised for 45 mins. I was supposed to do 30 mins on Monday but didn't (laziness). I can say I have never drank so much water in my life! So that is definitely a positive.
I do have a problem with depression and take meds for it. I started Lexapro 10mg and gained 12 lbs in 5 weeks. I am now cutting back (after being upped to 20mg). The doctor suggested I add green tea extract for help in fat burning and losing weight. It's working a bit.
