My Garden....

Wednesday, June 05, 2013

... needs a LOT of work!! I have negleted it for the last 2.. or even 3 months. I'm so not ina garden mood lately, yet I have to tackle it before it turns into a rainforest. Yet despite the fact that it's desperately in need of work, I love it and am so grateful for it!! I love being able to just wonder out ther and get myself some carrots. Unfortunately home grown carrots don't come in the same uniform shape as shope bought ones... at least in my garden... in fact with every pulled out carrot you face a surprise, what will it be teeny weeny, wonky weird or big bubba??? Boy what a surprise when I pulled out these beauties:

They went straight into our dinner of chicken and sumpling soup!!! Yummmmm.

Well, I get myself off to bed now, me thinks. I got this cold which refuses to leave... sigh... and winter only started.... can't wait for spring... and warmth... and beach weather.

My favorite cold remedy is ten minutes in a dry sauna. I survived the cold season this year by doing cardio everyday, the harder the better. I had a few small colds, but nothing that actually took me out of commission.
