ok, so i am attempting this juice thang. We had just been doing the Naked Juice - green machine thing for breakfasts, or for me, in addition to my greek yogurt and fruit (i know i wasn't doing a bad job with breakfast, but why not get some more vitamins)
Day 1 was tough. I just wanted to chew on something!
I can't say i was true to my goal, ideal, etc - i gave up around 2pm and had a serving of almonds. And one of the pups was ill so i made a vat of rice and was attempting to make it satisfying so i snuck some bites... But all in all I had abount 1500 calories of naked juice, the green and i bought a bottle of the vitamin c one... gotta mix up your colors, right?
Anyway - we made it though dinner time, i would have gone for a walk or something, but with a sick pup, no extra exercise to be had... yikes. So off to costco we went to waste an hour!
After dinner hour was over and it was almost bed time I thought, hey, let's see if we can keep this going... at least through breakfast. So this morning, i started it all over again... I had a second one to stave off the 10am hunger... and then at noon - after an extra walk to the library to pick up my "book club" book - John Irving - Until i find you - i said, well heck let's do it for lunch too...
So i'll go till dinner time and in the words of slim fast - have a sensible dinner and see how it goes.
This morning i was down 2 pounds. I know that was probably due to finally getting in control of all the overeating i have been doing, but it was a nice thing to see!
Get to at least dinner, if not beyond
Get in 3 bottles of water - 90 ounces - barely got 1 yesterday (I'm ahead today, already downed one!)
Get in extra exercise - already got a walk to the library - maybe a walk with the pups
Get in some me time - read my book club book!
