It's True! I Have a Thigh Gap!

Tuesday, June 04, 2013

Was reading TIMETOBLOOM4ME's blog post about how silly the whole concept of a "thigh gap" truly is...

(Guys, the media has created this myth that a woman is only fit/thin/beautiful if her thighs do not touch.)

How silly to think that having skinny, un-muscled, zero-fat-burning legs is something to aspire to. Who cares about fitting into jeans made for a 14-year-old BOY?

...And then I realized that I DO have a thigh gap. Oh. emoticon

But no one is going to use me for thinspo, that's for sure!

Get out there, lift some weights, work those legs, and GET FIT.

I am noticing that too. It pays to exercise, as well as eat right. MJ

I just want there to be the 'ability' for thigh gapping. :D

I only want a thigh gap so I can wear cool short running shorts... stuck in long compression "bike" shorts to avoid chub rub!

I would kill to have a thigh gap! Do you know how many pairs of jeans that I have worn pure holes in because of my thighs running together???? Too freakin many!!

I will never fit into skinny jeans. And I will never have a thigh gap. But I will be as fit as I possibly can be.

My thighs, glutes, quads and calves will not fit in the silly skinny jeans they are now targeting to guys. Looks like Levi's 501 for me.

Wow - I didn't know such an ideal existed! I think I could weigh about 90 lbs and still not have a thigh gap!

Thanks for pushing the healthy agenda instead of the skinny agenda! emoticon
