The troublesome technology continues. I talked to a tech yesterday and w/o seeing it, but describing it, he said the PC is probably gone. I could replace the hard drive, but it is about 12 years old, so that is not going to happen. I am thinking I will replace it with a laptop.
Had to restore my laptop yesterday to a previous setting in time because something fowled up my laptop since last Friday and was frustrated with trying to use it. It is much better now.
Did some garden planting Friday morning. Did some yard "shopping" Saturday. DH bought a lovely old fashioned set of dishes there for me for our anniversary -- which was yesterday. Sunday we went to the 'Gospel Notes' home church with some friends and they took us out to lunch for our anniversary. Pastor Mark sang the song, "Tougher Than Nails" and it was beautiful. Sunday evening we went to have pizza (I know, I know) and birthday cake and ice cream (don't even start!) for our granddaughter's birthday. She turned 9 on Sunday. Then, of course, DH had a Drs appt yesterday and his sugar was up. Not enough to medicate, but the Dr put him on a stricter diet and I am going to do it with him. We are to limit our carbs to two fresh fruits a day and three veggies, or unlimited raw fresh veggies w/o processed dressing. She would like our veggies to be 2/3 greens. We are to have NO grains for awhile except limited brown rice, but can have buckwheat and quinoa. That's fine with me. I like quinoa and I made DH some buchwheat crepes before and used them as sandwich rollups and he liked that. Things are gonna change around here!
Yesterday, we ate at a Chinese restaurant for an anniversary lunch. DH was watching his intake cause it was after the Dr appt, but he did splurge just a little. We went to Harbor Freight after lunch and did some Father's day shopping for him because he needed - and wanted - a few things.
I have a lot of stuff to put away since going out and yard shopping Saturday, and store shopping yesterday. Hoping to go to GK ball game tonight.
And speaking of technology, the spell check wasn't working on this link today.
