Early to bed, early to rise. Like it! Laced up and ready to walk....just finishing my coffee.
I am reading the memoir, "To Love What Is" by Alix Kates Shulman. It is putting me in a strange melancholic place, a difficult read for me, but an important read. Shulman writes of her relationship with her DH, as she cares from him after a life altering injury. She is an eloquent writer, and captures so well, what I was unable to articulate myself, when I cared for my mother during the last years of her life. Heavy duty stuff.
But that is then, and this is now. So....let the day begin on a very positive note, with an early morning walk.
Another cool morning, not quite 50 degrees.
Early light of day....love this time of year.
DH and I give Chef Meg's Slimming Sloppy Joes two thumbs up....and leftovers for tonight!
