Well, kids, I'm a day late... which seems to be the story of my life right now. On top of that, I'm utterly EXHAUSTED and struggling to stay awake to write this. So, I'm afraid I'll have to keep it short this week. I don't even have time for a full recap at this moment, but suffice it to say I'm a bit behind, feeling overwhelmed in my professional and personal life, and I am eager to get back on track after getting a FULL night of rest!!!
So, one of our challenges this week was to exercise somewhere unconventional. To be honest, I do that ALL the time: I dance in my office at work, I do cardio in my office at work, I go stair running in the empty stairwells of my school building, I run shopping carts around the lot.
So, I was kind of hard pressed to add much else, to be honest. So, this week I did my usual, plus I added 3 days of workout videos in my office (had never done workout vids before in there) AND on Saturday I ran the cart around the perimeter of the grocery store lot. So, does that count?? Hope so, because I gave myself the points already!
The only other things I'll take the time to report quickly is that:
-- I did several toning videos this week. I've also been going lower impact while my feet are taped by the PT.
-- I did 261 minutes of cardio, not 300+ but I beat my minimum of 250 minutes so yay me. I'm aiming for another 1000+ minute month in June like I did in May! I'm so proud of myself for doing so much in May.
And, with that, I'm going to sign off, for now. I'll try to check in tomorrow and give a proper update. I'm just running on less than 2 hours of sleep, and my pillow is desperately crying my name.
