Wha happened?

I've been away for a week - from SparkPeople and home - for a business trip to a conference. The meetings/talks ran from 7:30 am-6 pm with social/networking activities that would then go to about 10 pm.

While I didn't do a good job of logging what I ate or my fitness activities, I think I did a reasonably good job of staying on course. I benefitted from being in a situation where I could choose what I was eating for breakfast each morning and there were good protein options and lots of fruit available. I went easy on drinking coffee and wine, but didn't do so well at getting in enough water. I managed to get to the gym 3 of the 6 mornings I was away - and that's despite the fact that I wasn't sleeping well at all.

Now I'm back home to familiar food and a familiar bed, I'm comforted to know that I didn't gain weight while I was away. And I'm committed to getting back on track.

    There's nothing better than getting back to your own bed, and it's got to be a tremendous confidence boost to know that you are able to maintain a healthy lifestyle even when your schedule and your choices are dictated by circumstances.
