I've worked diligently this weekend to create a solid plan for June, and I think Iíve got one! I spent Sunday planning out all of my breakfasts, lunches, snacks and supplements for the month, I have all of this weekís dinners planned, and groceries bought. I have printed out all of my meals and now have them in a binder so all I have to do is pull that dayís plan, put it in the tracker and follow it. I like the idea of having it printed out and put in the binder so I can just rotate different meal plans on different weeks. I will continue to plan dinners once a week since I vary them much more, and sometimes plan dinners around the upcoming grocery store sales.
As for fitness, Iím ready to change things up a bit and have got my fitness calendar planned for the month as well. I will continue with heavy bag training 3 times a week, alternated with cardio boxing and Les Millís Combat. Last month weight training consisted of a total body routine 3 times a week. This month I will be alternating different body parts on different days of the week, so I will be weight training 4 days a week, but they will be shorter routines. Iíve also decided to add some walking into the mix, itís something I enjoy doing, but just havenít lately, so my plan is to start each day with 3 miles.
I lost 2 pounds last month ďWOO HOOĒ, pretty happy about that, but there wasn't much fat lost, I pretty much just maintained. I went from 131 pounds to 129 pounds, and bf% remains between 26.6%-27.1%. This puts me at a 21 pound weight loss so far to date, and leaves me 14 pounds away from my ultimate weight goal. I would love, love, love to see an increase in weight loss this month, and am going to aim for, 4 pounds. I've been slow losing so this is a pretty aggressive goal for me, but hey why not! As far as fat loss it would be great to see at least a 1% decrease, hopefully this new weight lifting routine will help me to achieve that. Weight really is just a number, and yes it feels good to see that scale go down, but fat loss is still the main goal. If my weight never changes, but my body fat is lowered significantly I would be a happy, happy girl! I really donít care what my weight is as long as Iím lean and healthy!
Hope everyone has a happy, healthy June! Reach for your GOALS and make your DREAMS come true!
