I slept 8 hours

Monday, June 03, 2013

I woke up rested today with my Body media armband reporting 86% efficiency for a total of 8 hours of sleep. I knew it when I opened my eyes - I knew it before I linked up.

I could do better most days, by actually getting in bed on time. Hmm...what is stopping me?

I read a blog about eating patterns related to sensory deprivation, but failed to remember the username of the author. Next time I need to stop and assess whether sensory patterns have an impact on giving into cravings. I managed to put the frozen mac and cheese back into the freezer at Aldi when food shopping yesterday, and that was after sensory overload (thrift store!).

I found a brown and white pin striped silk dress cut on the bias with original tag (popped tag=9 bucks). It is so flattering, made for my new minus 20 pound frame. Planning to catch the Janet Cardiff exhibit with my sister.

I think dressing up is one of the ways to stay on target, and I am adding a weekly goal of dressing nicely (I wear scrubs or khakis for work) even if it is to go to the library.

Happy sparking all!

  Doesn't eight hours feel great?
I'm with you on dressing up. I wear scrubs every day for work and they are not flattering by design. I love it when I can wear clothes that fit and look good. We just had a four day heat wave and I wore shorts and nice tops to work. I felt great and was certainly more comfortable.
