Finally I am able to relax. This past week has been CRAZY busy. It all started with a visit to the doctor where we learned my daughter had pnemonia, here I thought she just had allergies, oops.
Then we had a visit from my little brother and some of his friends. They were up here on their senior trip and wanted to stay the night at my house. When then made a 4 hour trip to my home town to drop them off and head to a baby shower of one of my childhood friends. I went to the local arts fair and then made the 4 hour trip back home the next day.
I was home just long enough to work for a few days and clean house. I watched my daughters spring recital. Did laundry and repacked.
(Had to get fancy for the recital)
Then it was time to make the 4 hour trip yet again. This time it was to watch my little brother and nephew graduate high school. We made it was an hour to spare, which was just enough time to spruce up a bit. It may have been a long trip but I have to admit the pride I felt watching him get his diploma was worth it.
I did manage to relax a bit on Friday and get in a nice 6.5 mile run. Running in my home town is always such a blast!
Saturday was spent getting ready and hosting a baby shower, then today was time to head home. It's funny how "vacations" are just not quite relaxing.
