Bike Journey shocking revelation.

Today I went out with camera in tow going to take pictures of my bike journey. The first one I took while I was riding.

Well, not too long into my ride, I ran into one of my TOP meeting supporters. She has successfully lost 117 pounds ten years ago and is at her goal holding her own. She was also out toodling around on her bike. We rode for a while and she showed me where she lives and then the shocking revelation was...oh, I just wanted to cry when she told me. The photo I took on my last blog of the white specs that did not look like much...well I thought they were Swans and she told me they were FAKE Swans! Yes they are fake. I was so disappointed that my favorite animals on my bike ride, that were always there every time I went by, were FAKE! So, when I went by today I looked hard and confirmed they indeed were FAKE, so I decided I am not going to take a picture of the fake Swans! OMG what a revelation! I must have looked hilarious standing by the edge of the bike path yesterday photographing the FAKE SWANS. Really?! Oh well, I did find some real ducks a mother and her ducklings (Mallards) They are a bit hard to see, but they are real! This is just before the dog park (a place for people in apartments and such that can bring their dogs for exercise).

So coming up to my bridge with the artwork and the dreaded incline of a very small hill, I was ready this time. I shifted down to 12th gear before heading down the hill and under the bridge and YES, YES, YES...I made it up that darn little hill and switched it back to 19th gear. emoticon

This last picture was where I saw the geese yesterday, but they must have been hiding this time, but I liked the view of the Shoreview water tower and the scenery around.

I enjoyed my ride and arrived home to some wonderfully grilled racks of pork ribs. I asked my husband to leave off the bbq sauce. Just ribs and rib rub. It was a nice lunch upon my return with sweet potato and a nice salad.

Well, I must get going! Have a great day all!
