The 5 Month Review

Today marks a full five months of SP involvement - and I must say it has treated me well. Well, I'm treating me well. In five months, here are my grand totals:
Total Weight Loss: 53 lbs.
Waist Inches Lost: 10
Hip Inches Lost: 7
Thigh Inches Lost: 6
Arm Inches Lost: 1.5
I'm especially stoked about the thigh loss because I didn't realize I lost a full 6 inches around each thigh, which means technically there is a foot less of me around the middle. This makes chairs much less of an uncomfortable situation. It also explains the sudden comments on my weight loss. I've been receiving compliments more often this week than at any time prior and I think that the inches lost are now at a noticeable number that even people I see everyday are going to see it.
I've accomplished a lot that I am proud of, especially conquering my fear of upper body strength training. I'm getting into the swing of things with that one and hope to improve upon my posture and back definition in the process. I also feel like I've managed my sodium well enough for the past two months that I will now focus on increased protein. I tend to hover at the bottom of my protein range and would like to see what I can do with an improvement there. I began this phase this morning with whey protein, which was surprisingly tasty and quite filling. In addition to working on protein, I'd like to incorporate more core focused exercise into my repertoire (just not sure how yet) and continue to find a more positive head space. As you can see from a majority of my blogs, the positivity isn't exactly shining through. I hope to ascertain this momentum with my next SP involvement: BLC! I received the email this morning and am a Scarlet Starlet for the next 12 weeks!
Now to go figure out how the BLC works...
