I tried something new for lunch today - Rice Salad w/ Fennel, Orange and Chickpeas. It's a recipe from Forks over Knives. I don't believe I've ever tasted fennel before - I know I certainly have never purchased it or prepared it. This was a new experience. I found a Martha Stewart video that showed how to prepare it - so I knew how to get started.
The recipe is pretty good - don't know that it's something I'd like to have everyday, but certainly OK for a change of pace.
