June 1 was an
day. I mean, I did EVERYTHING, I was supposed to in order to meet the day's and month's new goals. I was disciplined. Ah, victory is sweet.
No wonder people love discipline in their lives. I didn't get that gene, so I have to work extra hard at it. My DH got a double dose of it. He cannot rest until evey item on his list is accomplished; task lists are reasonable and balanced. What's that all about? Not me. Tomorrow is another day.
But my tomorrow has come. It is here, it is today. I overslept, but my body needed rest after walking so far yesterday. I could not have walked at 6:30a, the rain was persistent all night long and into the morning. It is just now clearing, the day calling me out side to join it. I will in just a bit....rarely does anything happen in the House of Victoria before I have had my 4 cups of coffee.
The morning after a first successful day back on track
New week of opportunity
"just do it"
Two dance recitals today, 1 and 6p, niece's ballet and grandson's hiphop.
Wishing you a peaceful and relaxing Sunday! Let's keep our eyes on the prize of good health, fitness and wellness.
My what a dance recital grandson's was. I was very proud of his accomplishments. Neil Haskell, 3rd Place Winner, Season 3, came from the same dance studio grandson takes lessons at. What a fabulous show, really, and not a recital. They are very serious about training children to dance...extraordinary in every way.
My sis and I went to dinner after the recital. Ate healthy, planned the day sensibly, and finished wellunder calorie range.
