Wk 112 Weigh In

Saturday, June 01, 2013

I had a slight gain this week, I'm not upset about it, in fact I kind of anticipated it. After having my free day on Saturday, on Sunday I had a birthday party for my cousin's 1 year old daughter to go to. Had a few birthday related snacks there. After that a bunch of friends of mine had planned a BBQ get together. I kind of went off the rails there, my friend Jason is an excellent BBQ'er! I had tri-tip steak sandwiches on sourdough bread, bbq chicken sandwich and a couple pieces of very rich desserts. It was good and I had a good time with friends so I wasn't concerned by the weigh in implications.

With that said, let's get to the numbers.

Weight : 211.2
Gain : 0.6
Total : 106

So not too bad really. I just gained back what I had lost last week! So this week I will try a little harder to stay on task (don't have any gatherings to attend that I know of!)

I hope you all are having and will continue to have a great weekend :)

Good call in not worrying about it! If you police yourself every moment of every day, then you're just going to be miserable all the time. And if you're going to be miserable anyway, why bother to lose the weight in the first place, right??

I say, enjoy your friends, enjoy the party - kids only turn 1 once, right? :)

Celebrations can be dicey, but it sounds like you did fine and can live with the meager gain, so I'm glad you enjoyed the weekend :)
I'm steeling myself for those inevitable barbeques this summer - they can be deadly for me with all the buns and meat because I try to eat more salads although they are a pain in the butt to make instead of hot dogs etc!

Wow your body is really good at using the calories -which is a 'side effect' of great work the rest of the time and how much you have learnt about what to eat.

0.6 is as you say not too bad really and no biggie.

have a great day!!!
