Update: to thinking about it

I have decided to go and do my first 5k with The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Saturday June 29th. I signed both my husband and myself up for it. It is a run or walk/bike 5k. We will be doing the bike as hubby has been complaining about his knees hurting and he didn't think he could walk the 3.1 miles with out breaks or knees hurting to bad. I am ok with that. Part of all of this is to get him UP & MOVING. There are some health issues going on with him that we are trying to work on with out any more meds...... As for me I am a little concerned about how I will feel after the race. Some times to much can throw my back out and then well I'm down for a month or so. But I have been pretty good about pushing myself and doing what I have set out to do. I did slack off a little for a couple of weeks. Why I don't know but I did. Back on track for the most part. As I had said before I am now able to do crunches again, not many but I am doing them again. I had to cut back on the squats for a while as my knees were starting to hurt. I did get in the scale in may and did some measurements......... down 10 lbs and any where from a 1/4" to 2" smaller on measurements. I like the idea of the color run/Run or Dye 5k and just learned it will be coming to my area. Looks like a lot of fun. Will let you know what I decide.
