Wow, time sure is flying by. I'm not sure that I will be able to finish all my summer projects at this rate (what I consider my summer is short because I leave at the end of July for Venezuela and have 3 weeks that I will be away before then). Another week down, and not any further weight wise. A few weeks ago, I was hoping to reach ONEderland before my doctor's appointment next week, but now that will not be happening. Oh well, she'll still be happy that I've lost at least 10 pounds since I saw her last.
Excercise and just daily movement and activity has been going alright. Some days are worse than others since I'm spending most of my time working on projects inside my house, but I'm trying to keep myself from sitting too long.
Nutrition is really going to be the area that I want and need to put more energy and focus towards. I've been doing a great job eating more fruits and veggies, which was a goal I set for myself when I came back home, but I've been doing a good job at eating more of everything, which is not okay. Yesterday I started tracking my food again (a necesssary evil at this point) and will again today. Being accountable by tracking should help me keep my focus during the day and stay away from the pantry. That is one of the hardest parts about living at home and not working. I don't get out enough, and there is always food that I didn't have to pay for around that will magically be restocked with any sort of treat I want.
Well, I need to get going. We are going grocery shopping. I made the meal plan for the week and put lots of fruits and veggies on our grocery list. The question is: will my dad and I have enough self control not to put treats in our cart? Have a great week!
