Every day I have the choice: get my exercise for the day, or find other things to spend my time on, instead. Honestly, it's hard to get going, some days. I am just not in the mood to go work out! I really enjoy going to the gym for the social time: exercising with a friend always makes the workout go so much faster! But it's harder to be motivated when my friend won't be coming along. Or when it's too hot out. Or when I've already had to go to work and then clean my house, and I'm tired . . . . But if I think ahead to how I'll feel an hour from now, it helps. Either I'll be feeling heavy and tired and guilty for wasting time, or I'll be feeling refreshed and energized and proud that I did what I knew was good for me. When I think it out like that, it's easy to choose: exercising really makes me feel happier! And if it's a day that's been non-stop action day, it really doesn't hurt to make the effort to do at least one 10-minute video--and I can feel like I've accomplished something good for my body, however small!
