I do not know what is going on with me, but my eating habits are becoming horrendous. I am eating things I know I should not be eating (things like fried foods, candy, donuts etc.) I think it started with a donut. All of a sudden, I am back to my old eating habits. What gives?!

I need to refocus and get back with healthy eating habits. So, I am doing the runners' World Summer challenge to run 1 mile everyday from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Hopefully, that will get me thinking about eating for fuel and health again.

    try thinking, "a donut (or other indulgence) is fine, after I get my 5 freggies and water today" by the time you do that, you won't want the donut,

    I always try to remember that there's a big difference between bad eating and bad eating habits. Yep, refocus is the solution. Being aware that you CAN turn it around is a great first step!

    I hate it when that downward spiral starts! A few things that have helped me: blog about it (check), plan my meals a day ahead to make sure I have snacks, etc in my calorie range, and make a list of possible pitfalls then write out how you will handle them. Planning ahead is my best bet at staying on track! Good luck turning this around!

    We've all been there. The important thing is that you recognize it and are making a change. I'm sure much quicker this time than last. emoticon

    I'm struggling, too, both with eating and slacking on exercise. I've managed to gain 4 pounds in a matter of a couple weeks and I need to get them back off NOW! I think part of the problem is the horrible, gloomy, depressing weather. It seems to have zapped my motivation. It's June1st -- good time to start some new goals and get back on track! Let's DO IT!
