One of my real life friends (and a Spark friend) wrote a blog today about starting a summer of fitness on June 1st. Great idea! While today isn't the actual first day of summer I agree that June 1st is the unofficial first day of summer so let's join her in this summer of fitness.
I'm going to jump start my healthy lifestyle in June by drinking more water (I know that doesn't sound like much of a goal but I really don't drink enough water and I think it's slowing down my weight loss). Of course I'm not stopping with water! I will also:
Eat a balanced diet within my calorie range everyday
Exercise at least 60 minutes a day at least 5 days a week
Get enough sleep (7-8 hours)
My goal is to lose 10 pounds a month in June, July and August!
