Well friends, I'm happy to report I met every goal I made for myself yesterday with the exception of the Daily Hiit workout. After spinning and pole class, I was very tired and sore so I felt ok to skip.
I just found Daily Hiit recently on Pinterest. I remember seeing a lot of Sparkers talk about bodyrock.tv, and they've now morphed into Daily Hiit. I'm trying to wrap my head around what they do, but it seems that every day there's a new workout video. The videos outline a 12-minute or less hiit workout. The one I tried looked easy enough, but the 4-minute intervals were TOUGH! The trainers serve as kind of fitspo, too, for me. They seem to always have them in these tiny little outfits, and these chicks are ripped. Makes me work that much harder :)
I had a big snack attack when I got home from work, so I went over in cals AGAIN yesterday. I bumped up my exercise goal once more, but it only afforded me like 50 extra cals so I've still got to focus on cutting back.
Smoothie challenge starts in 7 days, and today is day 1 of prep week. Couldn't come at a better time. I need to reign in these cravings, and stop feeling like I need to eat so much during the day. I promise to myself that I'll keep up daily blogs until end of challenge.
Goals on today's agenda....
Eat a grain-free breakfast (check! eggs scrambled in coconut oil, 1.5 links chicken sausage)
Eat less at work... cherries, banana, Clif bar, let's skip an entree today
Kickboxing class at lunch break
Do yesterday & today's Hiit workouts (and/or go to Flirty Friday if I feel like it)
Deep clean kitchen & make a stir fry to clear out space in fridge
