Such A Small Difference

I've been looking for a new hairstyle. My long hair is to long. To heavy. To hot. Simply to much of it! So I've been on a mission to find a new hair style for myself. I'm drawn back to something akin to what I've worn before ... short, simple, soft. Or maybe spiky.
But what I found interesting. I pinned a handful of pictures to my Pinterest page. When I went to print the final selection to take to the stylist, there were certain ones that I was drawn to. At first, I couldn't tell what it was that was the common denominator. It took some study.
Not the color. Blonde, white, brown, frosted. No, certainly not the color.
Not the age of the model. 20's to 50's. LOL! No, certainly not the age!
Not the length or style. Some are spiky. Some are wavy. Some are soft. A few very short. Some medium length. No, not the length or style.
Wait! The ones I'm drawn to are the women with smiles on their faces! It's not even the hair style itself!! How amazing is that?! So when it comes to my day to day life, when I want to turn things around, all I have to do is put a smile on my face. It's not up to someone else. It's not "their responsibility". It's fully within my control! Today, I'm going to give it a try! I'm going to change my world ... one smile at a time!
